Project Name: America’s Got Freedom
Driving Question: The goal of this project was to provide information to the class about Article 4 of the U.S. Constitution using an entertaining movie poster and movie trailer.
My group and I did a good job at providing information to our trailer to help the class have a better understanding of what we were teaching. When first assigned the project, we created our casting sheet and a script for our movie trailer. Once we completed that, we filmed and edited the trailer and began working on our movie poster. Once the poster was done, we were ready to present to the class.
Our group needs improvement on speaking louder when presenting and when filming videos in the future.
I think the activity could be improved on by giving us a little more time to work and perfect on it.
My favorite part of working on this project was filming our movie trailer because we were given the chance to make our own script. Also, I was happy with the group I was working with, so it made the project more fun.
Project Name: Challenging the Bill of Rights
Driving Question: The goal of this project was to engage and teach the class about the 4th Amendment using skits and good presentation skills.
My group and I did a good job providing helpful information for the class to understand what we were trying to teach. The first thing we did once given the assignment was create the lesson plan on the Google document. Then, we worked and practiced our skit. After, we completed our Google presentation. Once that was finished, we were ready to present to the class.
Once again, our improvements would be to speak louder and relax and open up to the class more while presenting. We also should have followed directions better in doing two skits instead of one.
I believe the activity could be improved by, once again, giving us more time to work on it because we had to rush through which made it not as smooth as we would like. My favorite part of the activity was creating the script for our skit, but not performing it because my group and I are not very good at performing in front of the class.
